  • Product Development Team members at Bodybuilding.com source, develop, and bring to market our industry-leading private label sports nutrition supplements, workout apparel and equipment. We are growing and are looking for someone skilled in Brand and Product Management. The right person for the job will take pride in developing the absolute best products to meet our customer’s needs and help them to achieve their goals. Collaboration and communication skills are key, as the role requires inputs from every team at Bodybuilding.com including Senior Leadership, Category Management, Marketing, Compliance and Creative. This important leader will identify categories to highlight opportunities for Product development with focus on both innovation and renovation that widens the gap between Private Brands and competitors and increases differentiation.
A Day In The Life:
  • Be a leader and point of contact for the vision and strategy for Bodybuilding.com’s Signature brand, driving brand innovation for new products and communications to market.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Category Management, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Finance) to drive go-to-market strategy, brand growth initiatives, and product launches. This includes leading the development of selling stories and marketing materials that translate our portfolio into actions that showcase the Signature brand on Bodybuilding.com and external channels.
  • Coordinate and execute brand strategy based on trend and customer needs, working collaboratively with Marketing, Category Team, Merchandising, and outside agency partners as necessary.
  • -Leverage data to create and understand consumer profile and customer trends
  • -Ensure brand strategy is translated into packaging, marketing and merchandising tactics, working
  • -Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategy
  • -including leading the development of selling stories and marketing materials
  • -Develop creative ways to drive new-to-file
  • -Provide creative direction for photoshoots and Marketing assets
  • -Develop strategy for bringing "Community" brand to market (how to involve customers, branding, etc.)
  • -Be the lead point of contact for fielding communications around the "Community" brand
  • -Submit & Manage Marketing Jira tickets
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Sports nutrition, vitamins & supplements buying or product development experience
  • Natural relationship builder: you know how to communicate and interact with buying, logistics, design, product registration, legal, compliance, and vendors in a professional, positive and proactive manner
  • Proven ability (through examples) to negotiate effectively
  • Highly organized and deadline driven: you can manage multiple projects to on-time and in-budget completion
  • Understanding of startup and retail dynamics: you possess an innate sense of urgency
