Job Summary:The Fulfillment Center Manager is primarily responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse. He or she will provide leadership and guidance to the FC staff while directing receiving, inventory, and distribution services. The ideal candidate will also be tasked with promoting and maintaining a safe and productive environment as well as collaborating with the overall Operations team to continuously improve processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Fulfillment Center Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
  • Plan, organize, schedule, forecast, coordinate and manage all cross functional activities
  • Of a seven day a week, 362 day a year operation to minimize down-time and ensure all company and customer demands are met effectively.
  • Review/analyze operational reports and initiate changes as needed, to ensure a WOW level of service to our customers.
  • Develop and implement plans, procedures, programs, and strategies to enhance performance, service levels, and meet all budgetary demands.
  • Prepare departmental budget and control expenditures against approved budget.
  • Administer policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.
  • Develop a supervisory staff with an emphasis on teambuilding, communication, performance accountability, and positive employee relation’s management.
  • Promote and reinforce safety and security awareness and compliance to cGMP.
  • Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain a positive image in the community through networking and community events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • A hands-on management approach that encourages change and creative problem solving
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment
  • Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels of the company in support of customer loyalty
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with familiarity of effective process control and improvement methodologies
  • An understanding of preventative maintenance principles
  • Demonstrated budget planning, expense maintenance, and reporting skills
  • Advanced user in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook)

Education and Experience:
  • 5 - 7 years management experience in warehouse/transportation or manufacturing operations environment
  • Proven track record leading and building successful teams
  • Technical experience in logistics, industrial engineering, or related business operations discipline
